Jeff's Story
Jeff carries a deep-seated conviction to engage God’s people in gospel-reinforcing rhythms of worship. Raised in Birmingham, he has spent the last 18 years in Louisville, KY, where he served a church and attended SBTS. During this time, he also met and married his wife Alaynah, herself a native of Louisville. Together, Jeff and Alaynah cherish God-given time homeschooling their two children, Evelyn and Hovie, and share a hobby of playing board games.
Jeff’s mission is resolute: to lead God’s people in offering the devotion and worship that mirrors His infinite worth. He believes fervently in the ever-present nature of God and the inherent call to worship that presence demands.
In 2023, the family relocated to Harpersville, AL, where Jeff gladly assumed the role of Worship Pastor at Church at The Cross Road while continuing online at SBTS. As they embark on this new chapter, Jeff and his family are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the church’s strategic mission to make much of Christ by making disciples and serving the needs of the community in Harpersville.
