OUR STORY
Church at the Cross Road is rooted in the community surrounding Harpersville, AL. We are a mission-minded church that was born with a heart to love and serve others. We have a deep desire to proclaim and teach the Bible in order to see lives transformed by the power of God through Jesus Christ. We are a casual church community that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
We were started in 2001 and the Lighthouse Community Church and had many wonderful years of serving the community. We recently decided together to restart as a new church with a fresh vision for how God might use us in the years to come.
We are an SBC church connected to the Soma Family of Churches, we have a commitment to being biblical, historical, missional and practical.

OUR MISSION & VISION
The mission of Church at the Cross Road is to pursue obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to his disciples. “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded.”

Our vision is to be a people that glorifies God by connecting our story with God’s story of redemption in Christ, being a patient presence with others, actively building unity in the gospel and reproducing followers of Jesus in all of life.
