Mike's Story

Mike has a passion for the Word of God and a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ on mission. Mike is from the Birmingham area and came to Harpersville to serve as a church replanter and the Pastor of the Cross Road in 2019. Mike is married to Kinisha, who grew up in the Vincent-Harpersville area. 

Mike attended Beeson Divinity School and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a degree in Biblical Studies and a Master's Degree in Pastoral Theology. He also works as a Hospice Chaplain where he cares for families that are going through the struggles of the last stages in life. He and Kinisha manage a missional business that works alongside adults diagnosed with special needs to make candles and soaps called Community Naturals.

Mike is an example of the truth that we have long stories. God is not finished with us yet and this chapter may not be the last chapter of our story. God has done an amazing work of restoring his life and marriage and uses that restoration for his glory.
